The Managing Director, Tony Cottam, has over 30 years finance experience with 13 years in finance/mortgage broking and over 20 years banking before that, being Vice President and General Manager of a major international bank for the latter 8 years. He is a Senior Associate of the Securities Institute of Australia and holds various diplomas and certificates relevant to the finance industry. He has either worked in or managed most areas of retail and corporate banking in Australia and New Zealand (including credit, treasury, FX, money markets, superannuation, insurance, stock broking, personnel management, quality assurance and regulatory compliance) and has been directly responsible for the management of well over 100 staff at various times during his career.

Joanne Menzies (Tony’s Partner) joined the Business in 2000 from an Accounting and Insurance background. She was initially involved in Adminsitration and Office Management but, through working closely with Tony and completeting various Diplomas and Certificates, she is now a successful Finance Broker in her own right..

Karen Bashford (Tony’s Sister) joined the company in 2003 after moving from Sydney with a strong background in finance and insurance. Karen hit the ground running on the South Coast and has developed a strong client base within the firm with a reputation for her straight down the line advice and friendly nature. Karen is on the Executive Commitee of the local Business Chamber and also holds relevant Certificates to the Finance Industry.
